Après Hong-Kong, c'est Heathrow et enfin un train pour St Andrews depuis Londres. Arrivé en fin d'après-midi à la maison. Première chose à faire : allumer le chauffage. Deuxième chose : prendre une douche. Troisième chose : dormir.

C'est le dernier message de ce blog. Les photos du voyage seront bientôt disponible dans un album photo.

After Hong-Kong, it is the arrival at Heathrow airport and finally a train to St Andrews from London. Arrival in St Andrews at about 5pm. First thing to do: turn on the heating. Second: have a shower. Third: to go to bed.

Voila mon séjour en Australie se termine : départ ce matin pour l'aéroport vers Hong-Kong.

It is the end of my 3 week stay in Australia : leaving this morning to the airport, flying to Hong-Kong.

Samedi matin, départ pour visiter le centre ville de Sydney :
(i) arrêt au Jardin chinois, endroit relaxant et apaisant
(ii) visite du jardin botanique à l'Est de l'opéra de Sydney;visite d'un jardin de cactus; nouveau blackout pendant 2 heures en centre ville (j'y suis pour rien, enfin je pense ...)
(iii) départ en ferry pour visiter la plage de Manly (plage de surfeurs)

On Saturday morning, departure to the city centre:
(i) first stop on a Chinese garden; relaxing and peaceful place
(ii) visit of the botanic garden on the East side of the Sydney opera; view of a succulent garden with a large variety of cactus; an other blackout in Sydney city centre during about 2 hours (I am not to blame for that ...)
(iii) leaving Sydney on a ferry to Manly beach (North-East of Sydney): this is a surfer beach

Après une réunion à 10h et un bilan du projet que l'on a développé, c'est vendredi après-midi : donc d'abord pub et ensuite restaurant.

After a meeting at 10am and a day spend to summarise the project that we have developed, it is Friday afternoon: first going to the pub after work and then resume the day in an Indian restaurant (BYO).

Je ne ferai pas de poisson d'Avril ... Avec des collègues, la journée se termine par un diner au pub (mercredi spécial : steack et purée pour 10 dollar !) en regardant le match de l'Australie pour la qualification à la coupe du monde 2010 (c'est du football, bien évidemment).

No April fool ... With several colleagues, we resume the day at the pub for diner (wednesday special: steack and mashed potato for 10 dollars!) and to watch the Australian football team in the qualifying round for the world cup 2010.
